Impressed. Didn't think it would get as much of the dog hair as it did. Impressed with the fact that it won't fall down the stairs. A little annoyed that it tries to run over the boot matts and occasionally gets stuck there but that is minimal. If shoes are on the boot matt, it does fine. It's a little loud banging into doors and scares the dog but he is getting more comfortable with it. Never thought we needed one but with the constant vacuuming with the dog shedding, it is a blessing. Big plus is saving on vacuum bags. I have to empty the bin everyday before I run it and clean out the roller once a week but that is nothing compared to the amount of time it saves. Obviously it doesn't save on all the vacuuming. It doesn't do corners or small spots but only having to lug out a vacuum once a week instead of everyday is great.Oh and I should mention I have mostly hard wood floors and rugs. Now if it would just dust and do the dishes.
This is one of the best purchases I’ve made. As a full time working wife and mom I try to look for ways to do less cleaning when I’m at home. The vacuum was easy to connect with our home Wifi and I like that you can set a schedule on the app for when it will run. I’m not sure if it takes time for it to map out the house because it usually just runs until it dies instead of going back to its dock. But no big deal, I just bring it back to the dock myself. I am very surprised at how much it picks up! It has sucked up price tags I’ve pulled off of clothes and other larger items. It’s very easy to clean. I always just empty every other time if runs. The only complaint I have is that it gets stuck if I don’t pick up everythinggggg. Like if it’s in my daughters room and there’s a Barbie on the floor it doesn’t register it as running into something and go around it. It goes right over it and usually gets stuck but oh well. I still recommend!!! You’ll love it!!
Best purchase I have ever made. We have three dogs and this cleans up so well. I love that don’t have to vacuum myself everyday. Makes the house and cleaning much more manageable. Looooove it!
Performs as it should. Suction power is okay, battery life is average like other robot vacuum. Thickness is average and could easily fit under the couch and bed. Pattern is random though and no memory. Easily programmed with the app. Gives out alert when it is stuck. You have to clean the brush from time to time because accumulation of hair will cause the machine to jam. Cleaning is average and random. Not as thorough as manually directed cleaning when you do it yourself. Good enough for daily maintenance cleaning. You still have to do your thorough spring cleaning.
After years of wanting to get a robot vacuum, I finally decided to order the Shark vacuum as the cost fit my budget perfectly.I was pleased with how easy the vacuum was to set up. All you have to do is plug in the charger, install the two brushes the vacuum comes with, and set it on the charger. The app made the process even easier with its step by step picture guide on how to set up the vacuum and pair it with your phone via WIFI.You can use the app to set weekly cleaning times, but it is not needed for the Shark to operate as the buttons on the Shark work just fine. The only time you would need to app is if you wanted to put your robot on a "set it and forget it" mode.I was also very impressed with how well the vacuum picked up dirt and debris. I purposely put crumbs and dirt in the path of the robot to see how it deals with bigger pieces and it picked them up on the first pass with nothing left behind. As for smaller dust particles and hair, I am not able to physically see them being picked up, but after emptying the collection tray it’s easy to tell it has no issues at all.My biggest concern was how the vacuum would handle the raised wooden boards that I have between each of the rooms in my house. I'm happy to say that the vacuum did not struggle to climb over them at all.
